Privacy Policy
StorePilotAI is a Shopify app operated by SRSOFT. This Privacy Policy explains what information StorePilotAI collects, how it is used, and how merchants can contact us about privacy questions.
For the current Shopify App Store listing, StorePilotAI does not request Shopify customer or order protected-data scopes. Customer and order imports are disabled.
Information We Collect
When a merchant installs or uses StorePilotAI, we may collect:
- Shop information, such as shop domain, shop name, install status, and app plan.
- Product, collection, inventory, and location data needed to power store operations features.
- App usage records, audit logs, sync job status, webhook processing status, and error diagnostics.
- Support chat content and contact details that a storefront visitor voluntarily submits through the chat widget.
- Billing status and subscription events processed through Shopify Billing.
Information We Do Not Collect From Shopify
StorePilotAI currently does not import Shopify customer profiles or Shopify order records. The app configuration should not request read_customers or read_orders for this listing.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide the embedded merchant dashboard and storefront chat widget.
- Sync product and inventory context for support and operations workflows.
- Route and display shopper support conversations submitted through the widget.
- Maintain billing, plan access, security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
- Comply with Shopify platform requirements and applicable legal obligations.
Sharing Information
We do not sell merchant or shopper information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, secure, monitor, or operate StorePilotAI, and only as needed to provide the service. Shopify processes billing and app installation data according to Shopify's own terms and privacy policy.
Data Retention
We retain app data for as long as needed to provide StorePilotAI, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security records. If a merchant uninstalls the app or asks for deletion, we will delete or anonymize data as required by applicable law and Shopify requirements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information processed by StorePilotAI. No internet service can be guaranteed to be fully secure, but we work to reduce risk through access controls, tenant isolation, audit logs, secure transport, and operational monitoring.
Merchant Choices
Merchants can uninstall StorePilotAI from Shopify Admin at any time. Merchants may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of data associated with their store.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as StorePilotAI changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where appropriate.
